First stop: San Diego. After 6 hours of Brandon driving the whole leg, we arrived at our campsite in San Diego, around 11 pm. Our site was right next to the road, with a chain link fence to separate us from the traffic. We all piled into Drew's family's tent to sleep on the concrete, but got up plenty early to watch the surfers and run around hitting rocks on the beach.
